Only a few days ago the Samsung Corporation announced that their newest product, the Galaxy tab 10.1, is not yet ready for the market and some flaws must be fixed. Now, the next product was announced. As the manufacturer stated that it will be a Tablet PC with 8.9 inch display. As operating system, "Honeycomb" is also set to the new Google product, Android 3.0. Originally, Samsung wanted to release the information until the evening of 22 March. However, has the English-language blog "SamsungHub" already informed in advance of the device and was able to publish the data before the official announcement.
As the IT blog explained the Galaxy tab will be equipped with a dual-core processor 8.9. Both cores are operated with a frequency of a gigahertz. According to this seems to trust the manufacturer in this smaller model on the Tegra 2 chipset from NVIDIA, but "SamsungHub" has confirmed this not specifically. In addition to the considerable processor performance, the device will be also very mobile. With a weight of only 470 grams and a depth of 8.6 mm, the product is very comfortable to wear and can easily be stowed in a large pocket. Other than the larger model, with a 10.1 inch screen this product seems again to persons to, who attach importance to small dimensions and high mobility.
With regard to the resolution of the Tablet PC differs from the other models in this scale. Thus, it offers a 1280 x 800 pixels. The operating system Android 3.0 is known to be the first of its kind, which is actually intended for use on the tablets.
