Dell has announced new tablets, which are to be equipped with Android 3.0 honeycomb. The Dell streak 7 is to be offered in April 2011 in the trade. It has a size of 7 inches and is equipped at first with Android 2.2 Froyo. An upgrade to Android 3.0 is possible. Was it the predecessor that Dell streak 5, still rather a Smartphone as a tablet, so is in the Dell streak 7 clearly to a tablet. Equipped with a gorilla glass display, the Dell streak 7 offers a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It weighs 450 grams and is equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. On the back of the Dell streak 7 has a 5-megapixel camera, on the front of a 1, 3-megapixel webcam for video telephony. The memory is available with 16 GB or 32 GB, and can be extended with an SD card. Still has the Dell streak 7 of HSDPA and an MP3 player. The device has a Tegra 2 processor. In externally, the Tablet is somewhat plump.
A 10-inch Tablet is currently prepared by Dell. A date for the launch is not determined yet, probably it is however available from September 2011. It is known nothing about the technical details of the 10-inch tablets, probably it will be however equipped with Android, but with Windows 7.
