Tablet PCs already enjoy a certain popularity some technology lovers, but they are a great location on the computer market not so far. However this will change in the future. What already some market research companies have predicted, has been confirmed also by the high-tech Association BITKOM. After that, the sale of the devices will strongly increase in 2011. With a number of sales of 1.5 million pieces, the sale to almost doubled. The next year, sales will rise further. BITKOM expects further growth by 46 percent to 2.2 million units.
If more devices are sold, is also the sales of the company. According to the current, the Tablet PC will generate a turnover of 770 million euros in 2011. This is an increase of 70 percent compared to the previous year. The year 2012 will make the company but even happier, because the Association expects that revenues will exceed the billion mark. The development of these sales is huge. Until 2010, the small computers were published with the touch-sensitive screen and even 2011, millions of them, in Germany, will be sold. Thus, they take a 10 per cent of the total PC market already.
The Tablet PC is a mobile solution of conventional computer. While he was at first mainly a technical toy, he has become with new surfaces and apps a correct ALLROUNDER. These mobile devices seem however to displace another group now increasingly mobile solutions. According to BITKOM, the small laptops, the so-called Netbooks, are distributed by the new high-tech equipment. Last year, the decline was only minimal, a reduction of sales of 1.2 million units, and by 15 per cent is expected for 2011.
When this was released Apple iPad, no one would have thought that the device would have such a popularity. Critics saw it only as a toy for people who have the appropriate change. In the meantime, opinions have changed. As tablets are usually also operated conventional input devices and now many Office tasks can meet, they have no disadvantages to more towards the small folding machines. Instead, they are even in the advantage, because they have a more modern design, as well as the ever-popular touch screen.
